The JCK conducts Shabbat evening services twice a month.

Every first Friday of the month, the Jewish Congregation of Kinnelon holds Family Shabbat Services for our children and young families. The services are brief and feature singing and story telling that is appropriate for all ages. Our Family Services will occasionally include the use of a projector to display the words of our prayers on a big screen and musical accompaniment. We also take an opportunity to celebrate all of the birthdays and anniversaries of each month with a blessing and special treat. Family services begin at 6:30, run approximately 45 minutes to an hour, and are followed by an Oneg.

Services on the third Friday of every month are geared more towards adults and begin at 8:00pm.

Our services are open to the entire community; they are a blend of English and Hebrew and feature lots of singing. We join together for food and fellowship at an “Oneg Shabbat” in the social hall following each service.
